Dr. You-Chun Wang is Member of the Academic Advisory Committee of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and tenured professor of Peking Union Medical College. He received Bachelor’s Degree on Medicine from Qidao Medical College, and PhD on Virology from University College London (UCL). He has mainly worked on hepatitis virus, HIV, HPV and other viruses and obtained several grants from Wellcome Trust, Ministry of Science and Technology, National Foundation of Natural Science, and others. He has published more than 200 academic papers, which 80 of them was published in SCI journals as the first or corresponding author. He also has several positions in academic associations, such as Chairman of Medical Virology and Vice Chairman of Medical Microbiology and Immunology of Chinese Medical Association, Vice Chairman of Chinese Laboratory Animal Association, Chairman of Beijing Medical Virology, Vice Chairman of Virological Products of Chinese Pharmacopoeia. |
