Dr. Anna DU is the Senior Program Officer of Health, Innovation & Partnerships (HIP) in China Country Office (CCO) of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Her responsibility is managing the programs related to vaccine development and immunization in China. Anna has more than 20 years’ experience of Biomedicine and Vaccine. Prior to joining the Foundation, she had worked at Sanofi Pasteur R&D about 12 years, where she was a R&D director of External R&D and in charge of exploring the external collaboration opportunities of vaccine R&D from academic, industrial, government organizations, scientific associations in Great China and Asia. In addition, she was also deeply involved in defining the Long-Term Strategy and R&D Strategy of Sanofi Pasteur in China. Anna DU had received the education in medicine and public health and got Medicine Degree in Beijing Medical University. She got Master Degree and Ph.D. of Virology in the Health Science Center of Peking University. Her research work during the postgraduate period in Peking University was related to the Molecular Biology and Epidemiology of HEV and HBV. |
